Like many other hiking boots, the Zamberlan 2040 Dufur Evo GTX RR has a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. These soles ensure a good settlement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain mud and soil. Because Vibram soles are durable, they last longer than other soles.

The Vibram Mulaz Evo is equipped with a so-called ‘Climbing Zone’ at the tip. This means that the part of the sole that supports the toes is flat. This ‘Climbing Zone’ provides more grip when climbing on rock.
