Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Bernina Lady 2 is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

Leather lining

The Bernina Lady 2 has a leather lining. The advantage of a leather lining is that it can quickly absorb a lot of moisture. In addition, a leather lining contributes to a pleasant fit. The leather molds itself to your feet and therefore ensures that the shoes adapt completely to your feet.

MFS

The Bernina Lady 2 contains the Memory Foam System (MFS) developed by Meindl. This MFS is a kind of foam layer that is processed around the ankle part of the shoe. This gives the ankle extra support. Comfort Fit ®

The Bernina 2 has a wide last. The wide last is suitable for people for whom the standard fit is too narrow in the front.
