The outer material of the LOWA® EXPLORER GTX MID is made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal skin. It has a velvety appearance and soft to the touch. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.

GORE-TEX ®

The LOWA® EXPLORER GTX MID contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, yet breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Outsole
