suede
The outer material of THIS WALKING BOOT is made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal hide. It has a velvety appearance and a soft feel. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.
GORE -TEX®
The Banks SF Extra GTX contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.
StraightFit last
The Banks SF Extra GTX has a StraightFit last. The StraightFit last gives more room to the toes, especially the big toe gets more room.
Insole
The Banks SF Extra GTX has a standard insole from Hanwag. This is a quick-drying, removable insole that contributes to extra comfort while walking. The Hanwag standard insole is also available separately in our store and on our website . We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Like many other hiking boots, the Banks SF Extra has GTX a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. The Vibram® Trekking SF ensure a good settlement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain mud and soil. Because Vibram soles are durable, they last longer than other soles.
