It is important to wash the Buff thoroughly after heavy use. The labels on the items recommend a maximum wash temperature of 40°C. The Original Buff and the Coolnet UV were tested by Buff at a washing temperature of 60°C. This showed that colors do not fade and the quality remains the same due to the polyester fabric. Therefore, the Original Buff and the Coolnet UV can be washed at a maximum of 60°C, which also applies to the Buff Coolnet UV neck warmer.

However, this would not be warm enough to completely disinfect the Buff. Buff has therefore carried out a test. The Original Buff and the Coolnet UV+ have been tested under a washing temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. The results indicated that there is no problem with washing with a 60ºC program. Colors do not fade and the quality remains the same due to the polyester fabric.
