Polyamide 

Polyamide, ook wel nylon genoemd, is een synthetisch materiaal dat gemaakt wordt uit aardolie. Polyamide is een sterke stof die niet snel scheurt en kreukt. Het is licht, elastisch, makkelijk op te vouwen en droogt snel. Een nadeel van polyamide is dat het vocht niet goed opneemt.

Elastaan 

Elastaan is een synthetisch vezel dat uitzonderlijk elastisch is. Door zijn grote rekbaarheid, maar tegelijk zijn stevigheid onderscheidt het zich van andere synthetische stoffen. Het is bijvoorbeeld sterker en duurzamer dan rubber, maar ook veel lichter. Elastaan is zeer lichtgewicht en is daardoor zeer geschikt wanneer u activiteiten gaat doen.
