Woolpower’s Mittens Thin 400 are an ideal underlayer to wear under thicker mittens. These mittens are largely made of merino wool, making them wonderfully warm and suitable for the coldest conditions. In addition, this ensures that the mittens are odor-resistant and wick away moisture quickly. The mittens are woven in a “loop shape,” which allows them to hold air better and therefore insulate even better. Because the seams are on the outside, these mittens are as comfortable as possible. Merino wool has the advantage that unpleasant odors do not linger. So it is not necessary to wash the clothes, even for a first use. Woolpower even recommends simply airing the clothing. If you still want to wash the clothes, you can do so with special wool detergent. You can then wash the clothes even at 60℃. This is because the wool is first treated in the “superwash,” creating a pre-shrinkage.Product specifications

Materials
Merino wool
Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is widely known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. About ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as an average sheep. As a result, the wool is thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with wide temperature variations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC. Their fur acts as a heat regulator. As a result, merino wool keeps you warm in the cold but breathes well. In addition, merino wool has excellent moisture management and self-cleaning properties, so you won’t easily suffer from perspiration marks and odors on your clothing.
Polyamide
Polyamide, also known as nylon, is a synthetic material made from petroleum. Polyamide is a strong fabric that does not tear and wrinkle easily. It is light, elastic, easy to fold and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyamide is that it does not absorb moisture well.
