Description

The Salomon X Ultra Pioneer GTX is a category A men’s walking shoe that is suitable for flat terrain. The shoe has a multi-grip sole which provides support both when ascending and descending. The lining and insole are made of textile, the sole of wear-resistant rubber. Furthermore, the upper is made of leather/textile. The GORE-TEX membrane makes the shoe waterproof. With a weight of 390 grams (per pair), the shoe is in the heavier classes of Salomon shoes.

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Salomon X Ultra Pioneer GTX is made of waxed nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Waxing the nubuck leather keeps it beautiful and water-repellent for longer.

GORE- TEX®

The Salomon X Ultra Pioneer GTX contains a GORE- TEX® membrane. The GORE-TEX® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but remain breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.
