The Litepeak GTX is ideal for longer treks on hard and rocky surfaces. This walking shoe falls under category B walking shoes, which means that it is a sturdy shoe that provides good ankle support. However, the shoe is about 30 percent lighter than other models in the B-category, making it easier for you to walk large parts. Especially if you are an avid hiker and sometimes walk off the beaten track, you will benefit greatly from the Litepeak GTX . This hiking shoe is also ideal if you like to make longer and more difficult mountain trips during your holiday.

The outer material of the Litepeak GTX is made of velor leather and mesh. The GoreTex lining ensures that the shoe is waterproof. The shoe has a Vibram ® Multigrip 3 Alping Light sole, which provides good grip on different surfaces.

The outer material of the Litepeak GTX is partly made of mesh. Mesh is a synthetic material that is made in different shapes. Due to the use of mesh, the shoe is light, flexible and the breathability is high.

GORE-TEX ®

The Litepeak GTX contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, yet breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

The Litepeak GTX has a removable insole from Meindl. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

Like many hiking boots, the Litepeak GTX a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. The Vibram® Multigrip 3 Alping Light soles ensure a good transition of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain sludge and soil. Because Vibram soles are wear-resistant, they last longer than other soles.

If the sole of your hiking boots is worn, they need to be replaced. Worn soles are a risk when walking. Because the profile of the sole disappears, the grip decreases and you slip faster.
