The outer material of the Glasgow GTX is partly made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal hide. It has a velvety appearance and a soft feel. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.

Mesh

The outer material of the Glasgow GTX is partly made of mesh. Mesh is a synthetic material that is made in different shapes. The use of mesh makes the shoe light, flexible and breathable.

GORE -TEX®

The Glasgow GTX contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that the Glasgows are waterproof, but breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Comfortfit®

The Glasgow GTX has a wide last. The wide last is suitable for people for whom the standard fit in the front is too narrow. The wide last has a normal width on the heel side, but is slightly wider on the forefoot side. This prevents annoying pressure points from occurring when you have wide feet.

Insole

The Glasgow GTX has a removable insole from Meindl. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

The outsole developed by Meindl provides and provides good grip and stability while walking. The Lite Trail soles ensure a good settlement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it gives a good grip and does not hold any mud or soil.
