The Meindl Garda Lady Identity walking shoe is a comfortable, leather-lined, flexible shoe. The outer material is made of high-quality leather. The leather lining provides a naturally warm feeling to the foot. Furthermore, the leather shoe molds very well to the foot.

Due to the good counter (= heel piece) in the shoe and a sturdy padding around the ankle, the heel stays in place and the shoe provides good support.
The combination of the aforementioned features make the Garda Lady Identity a real all-rounder that allows you to enjoy walking on paved paths, through the woods, on flat terrain and on sloping terrain. The shoe is also ideal for a city trip.

Take good care of these shoes
Before first use, it is advisable to impregnate your walking shoes with a water-repellent spray that is suitable for shoes with a leather inner lining. When you purchase shoes in our store, we will do this for you the first time!
You can nourish the nubuck leather of this Garda Lady Identity with a conditioner or wax. Over time, the leather will look like smooth leather.
Cleaning the walking boots
First clean your shoes with a soft brush or lukewarm water and then let them air dry. A heater or hairdryer is strongly discouraged! Also rinse the inside of your shoes every now and then. This will remove the salt crystals from perspiration and the membrane will retain its breathable properties. (Perhaps unnecessarily, but remove the insole from the shoe beforehand.) Air drying is also recommended after this. If necessary, fill with paper towels or newspapers to promote the drying process. Always follow the instructions of your chosen maintenance product.
