The Toro Evo LL Mid falls under the category A/B hiking boots. These shoes are slightly more flexible than category B hiking boots and somewhat firmer than category A hiking boots. The Toro Evo LL Mid is an ideal option, especially if you walk longer, but don’t want to wear too heavy shoes.

The outer material of this hiking shoe is made of nubuck leather. The Toro Evo LL Mid has a leather lining and a LOWA® MULTI TRAC® II outsole, which provides good grip on different surfaces.

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Toro Evo LL Mid is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

 

Leather lining

The Toro Evo LL Mid has a leather lining. The advantage of a leather lining is that it can quickly absorb a lot of moisture. In addition, a leather lining contributes to a pleasant fit. The leather molds itself to your feet and therefore ensures that the shoes adapt completely to your feet.

insole

The Toro Evo LL Mid has a removable insole from Lowa. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately in our store and on our website . We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

The by Lowa developed outsole gives and ensures good grip and stability while walking. The Lowa® MULTI TRAC® II soles ensure a good transition of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it gives a good grip and does not retain sludge or soil. The special profile on the toe and heel side provides more grip during ascent and descent.
