This walking shoe falls under the category A/B walking shoes. These shoes are slightly more flexible than category B hiking boots and somewhat firmer than category A hiking boots. Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Renegade LL Mid is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

 

Leather lining

The Renegade LL Mid has a leather lining. The advantage of a leather lining is that it can quickly absorb a lot of moisture. In addition, a leather lining contributes to a pleasant fit. The leather molds itself to your feet and therefore ensures that the shoes adapt completely to your feet.

The Renegade LL Mid has a removable insole from Lowa. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately in our store and on our website . We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

Like many hiking boots, the Renegade LL Mid a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. The Vibram® Evo ensures a good transition of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain sludge and soil. Because Vibram soles are wear-resistant, they last longer than other soles.

If the sole of your hiking boots is worn, they need to be replaced. Worn soles are a risk when walking. Because the profile of the sole disappears, the grip decreases and you slip faster.
