The Banks Narrow Lady GTX is a beautiful hiking shoe from Hanwag that is ideal for long walks. From walks in the woods to light hikes in the mountains, this hiking boot is a true all-rounder. The Banks Narrow GTX falls under the category A/B hiking boots. These shoes are slightly more flexible than category B walking shoes and somewhat firmer than category A walking shoes. The outer material of this shoe is made of nubuck leather and suede. This shoe has a Gore-Tex lining. Thanks to the Gore-Tex membrane, the shoe is waterproof. The Banks Narrow Lady GTX has a Vibram ® Endurance Pro outsole, which provides good grip on different surfaces.

Materials

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Banks Narrow Lady GTX is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal hide. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated. If you wax nubuck leather, it will become darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray containing wax, you treat this material in the best way.

The outer material of the Banks Narrow Lady GTX is made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal hide. It has a velvety appearance and a soft feel. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.

GORE -TEX®

The Banks Narrow Lady GTX contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these shoes are waterproof, but breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Insole

The Banks Narrow Lady GTX has a removable Hanwag insole. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately in our store and on our website . We also sell custom insoles that provide additional support.

Like many other hiking boots, the Banks Narrow Lady has GTX a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. The Vibram® Endurance Pro ensures a good settlement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain mud and soil. Because Vibram soles are durable, they last longer than other soles. The special profile on the toe and heel side provides more grip during ascent and descent.
