The Deuter Futura 25 SL backpack is part of the Futura series. It is a daypack for the enthusiastic hiker who puts comfort first. The SL in the name stands for Slim-Line. This means that the backpack is specially adapted to the anatomy of the woman. This means that the padding on the shoulder straps is somewhat softer and that the shoulder straps are shaped more to the woman’s upper body.

The back panel is the most important element of the backpack. In 1984, Deuter revolutionized the backpack world with its new mesh back panel. The back is made entirely of mesh. The back is also made from 50% recycled yarn, which equates to 12% less CO2 emissions. Ventilation is the biggest priority in this back panel. The backpack is equipped with the Aircomfort Carry system. This is a system developed by Deuter that ensures optimal ventilation. It represents the choice of mesh material and a space between the backpack and the back. There are hip fins on the back that are made of mesh and are ergonomically shaped. The fins have a zip pocket on one side. There are mesh holes in the shoulder straps to promote ventilation of the straps.

There is no shortage of space. The backpack, supported by a spring steel frame, has a large compartment, a laptop compartment, two elastic side pockets, an inner pocket for valuables and a front pocket with organizer. The total capacity is up to 25 liters.

In addition, a removable rain cover is included. The material is also 100% bluesign® certified. Bluesign® is the world’s strictest standard for environmental protection, occupational safety and consumer protection in the textile industry. And just like all Deuter backpacks, the Futura 25 SL is also completely free of PFC and PFAS.
