The Buff Merino wool headband is a double layer headband, made of medium weight merino wool. Each layer of the headband has a density of 250 g/m². This ensures good protection against the cold. Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is generally known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. Approximately ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as an average sheep. The wool is therefore thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC . Their fur regulates heat. As a result, merino wool keeps you warm in the cold, but it breathes well. In addition, merino wool has an excellent moisture-regulating and self-cleaning effect, so you will not easily suffer from perspiration spots and odors on your clothing.
