The Bauerfeind Sports Compression Sleeves are specially designed for running and walking. The use of high-quality compression material prevents cramps, pain and a heavy feeling in the legs. The sleeves give the most compression in the ankle and the compression decreases towards the knee. As a result, moisture and waste products are properly removed and about 80% of the aforementioned complaints can be prevented. The compression sleeves can also be worn very well to prevent asphalt eczema and a shin splint. Because the feet are not covered, you can easily combine the sleeves with your hiking socks.

Size advice
Woolpower’s clothing is mostly unisex and falls generously for both women and men. Moreover, it may become slightly wider during wear. The insulating properties of Woolpower garments are at their best when they fit to the skin. Therefore, for at least ladies, it is advised to take one size smaller. For proper sizing, please refer to the size charts at the top of this page.
Materials
Merino wool
Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is widely known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. About ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as an average sheep. As a result, the wool is thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations of -20 ºC to over 35 ºC. Their fur acts as a heat regulator. As a result, merino wool keeps you warm in the cold but breathes well. In addition, merino wool has excellent moisture management and self-cleaning properties, so you won’t easily suffer from perspiration marks and odors on your clothing.
Elastane
Elastane is a synthetic fiber that is exceptionally elastic. Its great stretchability, but at the same time its sturdiness sets it apart from other synthetic fabrics. For example, it is stronger and more durable than rubber, but also much lighter. Elastane is very lightweight, making it great for when you are doing activities. In fact, elastane also offers plenty of room to move because it is so elastic without losing its fit.
