The Collonil Active Combi Set contains two detergents that help maintain your outdoor clothing. These detergents ensure that your clothes become extra water and dirt repellent. Furthermore, the breathability and the color are retained. These detergents are also suitable for all materials, such as down, softshell and goretex. You can use these detergents in 1 wash. If you want to use the detergents in 1 wash, you must place the Textile Wash in the main wash basin and the Wash In in the fabric softener compartment of the washing machine.

Apply extra to seams and areas that are prone to tearing.
Product specifications:

By varying the amount of wax you can adapt the function of the G-1000 garment or product to different weather conditions and activities. For instance:
- Hiking without a backpack: Reinforce the seams with wax to make the jacket extra waterproof and durable.
- Hiking with a backpack: Wax the front of the jacket. Your body heat is dissipated at the back and the front protects you against wind and weather.
- Hiking in warm climates. Wash the garment at 40 degrees in the washing machine. The result is an airy and comfortable garment that ventilates optimally.
G-1000 clothing is windproof, quick-drying and very durable. By impregnating your garments with Greenland Wax:
- Can you adapt them to various weather conditions and activities
- Do you make the clothing water and dirt repellent?
- Increases the durability and longevity of a garment
The wax is made of: 65% Parrafin, 35% Beewax
Waxing G-1000 products
A lot of wax makes a garment strong and resistant to wind and weather. And when you wash clothes again, you get a cooler garment with good breathability. After two or three washes, you can wax your clothes again.
- Application: Rub the block of Greenland Wax over the fabric in long strokes to create a thin, even layer. Make sure to impregnate all parts of the fabric.
- Melting: You can melt the wax into the dust in three ways, wax melts at a temperature of about 55-60 °C. The first way is with an iron on a low setting with no power. Don’t forget to clean the iron before using it on another garment. The second way is with a hair dryer. The third way is over a camping burner. Hold the garment a few inches above the flames and rock it back and forth. Start far away and slowly get closer until you see the wax melt. Make sure it doesn’t burn.
Tip: Do you want to make the fabric more water-repellent? Then it is better to repeat the waxing a few times instead of applying a thick layer. This is useful for vulnerable parts in the clothing, such as the hood and shoulders (if you are wearing a backpack), knees and seat.
Note: G-1000 garments with down or synthetic filling and garments with a hydratic lining or a combination of fabrics should be waxed with extra care.
Of course we can also wax your G-1000 clothing at Antilope Outdoor. You can also contact us if you have any questions!
The FjällRäven Greenland Wax Bag is made of G-1000 Original with a natural-colored leather label on the front. Here you can safely store your wax block in a water-repellent, so that you can wax your G-1000 clothing anytime and anywhere. The waxing instructions are printed on the inside of the pouch. The wax bag is produced from the material that is left over when we manufacture our G-1000 products. For this reason, the color of the Greenland Wax Bag is different every time.
Greenland Wax is a pure natural product, made from beeswax and paraffin. The supplied 100 gram block is enough to wax about ten garments.

The BlueSign label indicates that no harmful substances have been used in the production process. Companies with a BlueSign label are required to draw up a sustainability plan with attention to water consumption, energy consumption and waste management. BlueSign also has guidelines for safe and healthy working conditions, but these are not specifically monitored.
PFC free
The Grangers 2 in 1 Wash & Repel is produced without the use of environmentally hazardous fluorocarbons (PFCs). The use of PFCs in the textile finishing ensures that clothing becomes water, dirt and grease repellent. In 2 in 1 Wash & Repel an alternative finish has been used without the use of PFCs. This makes the product water and dirt repellent. Only an oil-repellent effect cannot currently be achieved with a PFC-free finish.
Sustainably produced
Granger’s is currently the most environmentally friendly maintenance brand for technical clothing and shoes and all products are Bluesign® certified. A company only receives a Bluesign® certification if the entire production chain, from raw material to waste at the consumer, is environmentally friendly. Attention is paid not only to the durability and degradability of the product itself, but also, for example, the use of plastic coffee cups in production is prohibited. No harmful substances may therefore be used in the entire production process. In addition, companies with a BlueSign label are obliged to draw up a sustainability plan that pays attention to water consumption, energy consumption and waste management.
Also, Granger’s detergents are now more concentrated, allowing 12 washes from one bottle, compared to only 10 washes before. Furthermore, the washing and impregnating agents are now packaged in new bottles made from Ocean Waste Plastic. These changes also make Granger’s a more environmentally friendly brand.
The Grangers Down Wash 300ml ECO is a detergent specially made for cleaning (synthetic) down. The lightness of the down and the insulating capacity are not affected by the detergent, so that you can enjoy your down products for years to come. The bottle has a capacity of 300 ml and is enough for 12 washes.
Product specifications:
- Powerful cleaning
- Neutralizes odors
- Improves breathability
- Improved water repellency

The Grangers Down Wash Kit ECO is the ideal package to clean and maintain your down products. The set contains a Down Wash, a detergent that properly maintains your down products. The detergent cleans your down product, neutralizes odors, keeps your product breathable and provides a water-repellent layer. The detergent is sufficient for 12 washes and leaves no residue in your washing machine. In addition, the package contains three reusable dryer balls, which restore the down and prevent clumping. These last up to 1000 washes! In short, if you want to maintain your down products properly, the Grangers Down Wash Kit ECO is the ideal package!
You can easily use this pack by adding 25 ml for one large item or two smaller items directly into the washing machine. When the products are dry, check that the down is evenly distributed and put the product in the dryer. Add the drying balls to this for an optimal result.
