Het buitenmateriaal van de Zamberlan 216 Salathe 5.13 GTX RR is gemaakt van suède. Suède is afkomstig van de basis van de dierenhuid. Het heeft een fluweelachtig uiterlijk en voelt zacht aan. Suède kan geboend worden, maar het kan ook heel goed onbehandeld blijven. 

GORE-TEX®

De Zamberlan 216 Salathe 5.13 GTX RR bevat een GORE-TEX® membraan. Het GORE-TEX® membraan zorgt ervoor dat deze wandelschoenen waterdicht zijn, maar wel ademend blijven. Hierdoor blijven uw voeten droog tijdens het wandelen. 

Inlegzool

De Zamberlan 216 Salathe 5.13 GTX RR heeft een uitneembare inlegzool van Zamberlan. Deze inlegzool draagt bij aan extra wandelcomfort. Wij verkopen ook aangepaste inlegzolen die extra ondersteuning bieden.

Buitenzool

Net als veel andere wandelschoenen heeft de Zamberlan 216 Salathe 5.13 GTX RR een VIBRAM® buitenzool. Vibramzolen staan bekend om hun hoge kwaliteit en duurzaamheid en worden daarom vaak gebruikt in wandelschoenen. Deze zolen zorgen voor een goede afwikkeling van de voet. Het profiel van de zool is zo ontwikkeld dat het een goede grip op verschillende ondergronden geeft. Daarnaast is het profiel van de zool zelfreinigend. Hiermee wordt bedoeld dat de zool geen slijk en grond vasthoudt. Doordat Vibramzolen slijtvast zijn, gaan ze langer mee dan andere zolen. 

Als de zool van uw wandelschoenen versleten is, zijn ze aan vervanging toe. Versleten zolen vormen een risico tijdens het wandelen. Doordat het profiel van de zool verdwijnt, neemt de grip af en glijdt u sneller uit. Het is alleen lastig om afscheid te moeten nemen van wandelschoenen die perfect zitten en waarmee mooie tochten zijn gemaakt. Zeker als u uw schoenen altijd goed onderhouden heeft, blijft het bovenmateriaal van de schoen langer goed dan de zool. De wandelschoenen kunnen er dan nog prima uitzien, maar doordat de zool versleten is, worden ze niet meer gebruikt voor wandelingen. Met pijn in het hart nemen wandelaars dan afscheid van hun lievelingsschoenen. Het grote voordeel van de Zamberlan 216 Salathe 5.13 GTX RR is dat ze verzoolbaar zijn. Als de zolen van de Zamberlan 216 Salathe 5.13 GTX RR in de toekomst versleten zijn, hoeft u ze dus niet weg te gooien. Wij bieden graag de service om uw schoenen te laten verzolen. Breng uw schoenen langs of stuur ze naar ons op. Wij kunnen dan kijken of we ze kunnen voorzien van een nieuwe, originele buitenzool.
