About the Antelope Nexus Full-Zip men’s vest

The Antelope Nexus Full-Zip men’s vest from Rab is very suitable for outdoor activities. The fleece vest has two zippered hand pockets with a YKK® VISLON® ® zipper and double cuffs that provide extra warmth. The vest keeps you warm and offers enough freedom of movement due to the normal fit. The Antelope Nexus Full-Zip men’s vest is made of Thermic™ stretch fleece.

Product Features:

The lumberjack shirt is made of a functional wool blend in a comfortable cut. It has press studs on the front, at the sleeve ends and on the pocket flaps. The two chest pockets are placed slightly lower than on other shirts for easy access.

The shirt is perfect as a casual garment and for mountain tours. Can be worn as a light shirt jacket or as an insulating mid layer under normal shell clothing.

The shirt has details in G-1000 ® Original on the inside of the collar and pockets.

G-1000® Original

Fjallraven’s G-1000® material is a tightly woven fabric made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton. The material is wear-resistant and ventilating. G-1000

G-1000 is a unique fabric specially developed by Fjällräven. The fabric is made from a combination of 65% polyester and 35% cotton and is impregnated with Greenland Wax. This combination ensures that G-1000 is exceptionally durable, highly breathable, wind and water resistant. In addition, G-1000 is mosquito-proof and offers almost 100% protection against UV. G-1000 can be maintained with Greenland Wax.

Recycled Polyester

Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well, is not very warm and does not breathe very well. Polyester is also, like many other materials, harmful to the environment. It is not biodegradable and contributes to the plastic soup in the ocean. However, polyester can be recycled very well. The use of recycled polyester reduces both waste and the dependence on petroleum as a source. Recycled polyester is therefore a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative.

Merinowol

Merinowol is afkomstig van merinoschapen en staat algemeen bekend om de hoge kwaliteit. Merinoschapen hebben veel meer haartjes dan andere schapen. Per vierkante meter groeien ongeveer tien keer zoveel haartjes als bij een gemiddeld schaap. De wol is hierdoor dunner en langer, voelt heel zacht aan en kriebelt niet. Merinoschapen leven in gebieden met grote temperatuurschommelingen van -20 ºC tot ruim 35 ºC. Hun vacht werkt warmteregulerend. Hierdoor houdt merinowol u warm in de kou, maar ademt het goed.
